ObamaCare vs Supreme Court: Universal Health on the Table

Today, the Hearings for Amy Barrett are all about health care.   Why?   The liberals are tearfully projecting stories of children with significant diseases whose survival can only be assured if Obamacare is not overturned by the Supreme Court.     Essentially, they seem to be trying to convince Mrs. Barrett that she will rot in Hell for murdering children if she should dare to put a pinky finger on the existing health program.

Few even remember what life was like before Obamacare.

In 1960, 70% of the US population had ‘some sort’ of health insurance.   Annual expenditures for health care capped at $9 billion.   Today, roughly 26 million people are uninsured – which coincidentally coincides with the estimated number of illegals in the US.   The annual expenditure for health care is now over $1.3 trillion!   Expenditures have increased 45% since the implementation of Obamacare – and 14,655% since 1960.

That’s not health care – that’s BIG BUSINESS!

In 1960 the biggest killers were: heart disease, cancer, and stroke.   In 2019 the biggest killers were: heart disease, cancer and stroke.   The average life expectancy in 1960 was 80.   The average life expectancy in 2019 – 80.   What has changed?

Labor estimates show 16 million Americans are employed in the health industry.   By 2026, that number is expected to increase to 20 million. In 1960, not-for-profit hospitals contracted volunteers to assist in the menial tasks… my mother was one of them.   Volunteers represented 60% of the total staff.   The petition to persuade employers to cover the cost of health insurance began in 1960.

The medical industry is the number 2 employer in the US. The number 1 employer is the government: Federal government workers represent about 12% and state and local 7% for a total of 19% of the total labor force.   Another Big Business.   Our tax dollars PAY for 19% of the employees whose wages and benefits are significantly higher than the average wage earner.   The average compensation for all workers is roughly $50,000 and for federal workers it is $70,000.

Why is Obamacare really so important to the liberal agenda?

Before Obamacare – subsidies were relegated to Medicaid only.   Before Obamacare – only those who wanted insurance had insurance.   Personally I didn’t have insurance until I reached 40. I paid for my babies cash out of pocket totaling about $3000 each.   Today that wouldn’t be possible. The uninsured cost to have a baby is between $30,000 and $50,000.

In other words – you have to have insurance!

Five states are already working to provide a state-run public option to Obamacare; Washington, Nevada, Minnesota, New Mexico and Illinois.  This ‘public-run’ would still qualify for the subsidies in place under Obamacare, but the states, not the private insurers would reap the rewards.   State run hospitals already exist, but they typically handle Medicare and Medicaid customers.

Example:

Elmhurst Hospital:   Elmhurst is run by the public corporation, Health + Hospitals as a nonprofit.   In addition to the 11 acute care hospitals, they operate 5 nursing homes and 6 treatment centers serving primarily the poor.   Revenues top $11 billion with net profit of $31.8 million in 2019 and projected deficiencies for 2022 thru 2024 of $128 to $301 million each year. Salaries, benefits and pensions account for more than 80% of revenues.   Without Obamacare and Medicaid subsidies, the system deficits are likely to be quite larger.

Elmhurst, was the beneficiary of thousands of the CoVid death tally. While the Health + Hospitals Corporation holds five nursing homes, Gouverneur is likely the one fulfilling the Cuomo mandate of hospital transfers.   Recent reviews from 2019 indicate under staffing, lack of care, patients untended, improperly drugging patients, lack of communication, etc…   Their website posts an award from Newsweek – “Best Nursing Home 2021”… Guess someone didn’t proofread.  Of course a few of their other nursing homes were also the recipient of this exact same award…  Imagine that!

Could it be that the public hospitals were being fed from the same corporation’s public nursing homes?   Likely yes.

New York represented nearly 16% of total deaths – most occurring in state hospitals that catered to Medicaid patients and were thus able to siphon the additional CoVid funds for care. Hospital patients service demographics: 59% Hispanic, 19% Asian, 11% white and 8% black.

Ultimately, this is the same system that they want to force feed every state in an attempt to follow the UN mandate of Universal Healthcare. To date Governor Cuomo is refusing to comply with DOJ requests for documents related to CoVid deaths at hospitals and nursing homes.

STATE DEFICITS – $1 Trillion and Counting

Well, the shitake is hitting the fan and all the idiotic Barney Fiefs in positions of power as governors and mayors think that raising every conceivable tax is going to magically produce their necessary revenue after tanking their economies.   Of course, state employee pensions would be first in line… Because unions support liberal candidates.

One such idiotic move was attempted by the mayor of Nashville wherein he thought he could slip thru a 32.6% property tax hike while his entire entourage was still vacationing at home amidst the pandemic epidemic flu virus.

As of 2016, the funding gap between state pension liabilities and assets was determined to be $1.4 trillion. According to Moody’s that gap increased by $1 trillion during the CoVid 19 selloff.   That gap widens every day that state and local revenue flattens.

The average pension across the country is roughly $28,000 compared to New York’s average of $53,000 representing 1.14 million members and current beneficiaries of 482,000.

So who are these Comptrollers in charge of managing state finances? Because they would not appear to be doing a great jon!

Tom DiNapoli has served New York State for 13 years in the capacity of Comptroller having achieved a degree in history and subsequently a masters in human resources.    His entire career has been in politics. He has absolutely no education in finance or economics .

California’s Controller is Betty Yee. Her bio states that – growing up she handled the books of her family’s dry cleaning business.   In college she went on to obtain degrees in Sociology and Public Administration. She has worked in politics her entire life.

What are the duties of state Comptrollers?

  • Conducting performance and financial audits of all City agencies;
  • Serving as a fiduciary to the City’s five public pension funds
  • Providing comprehensive oversight of the City’s budget and fiscal condition;
  • Reviewing City contracts for integrity, accountability and fiscal compliance;
  • Resolving claims both on behalf of and against the City;
  • Ensuring transparency and accountability in setting prevailing wage and vigorously enforcing prevailing wage and living wage laws; and
  • Promoting policies that enhance City government’s commitment to efficiency, integrity and performance for all New Yorkers.

I passed the CPA exam years ago and conducting financial audits, managing billions in assets, preparing budgets, etc… were highly specialized tasks reserved for the most competent in education and experience.   Degrees in history and sociology would hardly track that level of competence.

But that is who is managing state budgets.

New York is quickly approaching a deficit of $60 billion and California is climbing the ladder at $43 billion. I’d say the state governments had ridiculously ‘failed’ in their duties and responsibilities to manage.

And now they want President Trump to just give them all the money they lost – which is effectively money from you and I. Cryin’ the blues…

As of 2019, New York State was already in trouble facing a deficit of $6.1 billion as a result of rising Medicaid costs. Roughly one third of NY residents are on Medicaid representing a cost of $70 billion annually.

While Cuomo has recently stated that nursing homes represented the crisis in NY for CoVid 19, it was the state government that ‘ordered’ nursing homes to take in CoVid residents.   73% of all deaths in New York state claimed to be caused by CoVid 19 were residents of NYC. Twenty six other counties within New York report death rates of 5 and under, yet the lockdown applies to every county.   A number of counties have -0- deaths, but must adhere to the same lockdown restrictions as NYC.   The absurdity seems lost on Health commissioners, Comptrollers, Governors and Mayors who are irate that their deficit is not being wiped clean by President Trump and OUR Dollars!

A damning video of Cuomo’s response to the CoVid 19 virus reveals an arrogant, we are the best in the world, timeline response dating from February 2, 2020.   While claiming New York could handle it better than any other state, claiming New York had the best hospitals and most up to date equipment ‘in the world’ – to cryin’ the blues…

March 20th, Cuomo issued an Executive Order lockdown which remains in effect today.

Further dementia would have Pelosi brightly smiling while announcing that state and local governments require $1 trillion to stay in business and a new package is being assembled with Maxine Waters at the helm of distribution???

CoVid 19: NYC Epicenter A Death Sentence… Elmhurst Hospital?

There is a video circulating in which a nurse practitioner reveals some very disturbing facts behind the treatment of CoVid 19 patients at a NYC hospital.   The nurse states that she is providing this information on behalf of her friend who is witness to these horrific details and wishes to remain anonymous out of fear. While she does not provide the name of the hospital, the likely one would be – Elmhurst.

Elmhurst is state owned, meaning under the ultimate auspices and responsibility of Governor Cuomo. It caters to a predominantly Medicaid/Medicare population in a very poor immigrant burrow.   The burrow demographics are 46% Hispanic and 44% Asian with a poverty rate of 27-30%.   The hospital has been cited on a number of occasions for excessive wait times, administration issues, and billing issues. Complaints abound concerning the complete lack of professional care and the rabid incompetence.

The nurse in the video specifically states that these patients were essentially murdered.   Put on ventilators and left to die.   There was no medication other than the antibiotic infused in the IV. But the antibiotic is not for CoVid, it is to remediate the side effects of intubation, which include:  pneumonia, infection, injury to the throat, tearing tissues in the chest, fluid buildup, aspiration and bleeding.

Because a ventilator removes the person from breathing on their own and this causes significant panic, the patient is sedated for the entire time they are intubated.   Meaning they never wakeup.

The option for Hydroxychloroquine is not offered. No zinc, no Vitamin C, D or A is offered or administered.   The option for an oxygen tent or oxygen mask is not offered.

Why?

Fentanyl is a common ingredient in various general anesthesia and sedation medications.   Fentanyl can cause serious respiratory complications and pulmonary edema.  Are hospitals administering sedation that includes Fentanyl?

A recipe for death.

New York experienced the highest death rate of any state in the US – 17,671.   The sixth highest in the world!

Indeed. Remember Cuomo demanding Trump provide an ‘additional’ 40,000 ventilators only to discover he had 20,000 hiding in some storage facility?   Ventilators don’t cure, and in this case, may have hastened the death rate due to the cocktail of incompetence.  This conclusion seems to be slowly raised by doctors – the doctors who are tasked with this knowledge…

The other bizarre anomaly in NYC was the method of burial.   In China, cremation was the natural course of action. But in NYC, at Elmhurst, De Blasio instead chose mass burial. Why?   A casket costs a minimum of roughly $1200, not including the cost to dig this mass grave for nearly 18,000 people.   Cremation costs about $300 for basic services.   But the mass burial was a media propaganda tool to instill fear, a cremation would not have the same effect.

Toxins have also been associated with higher incidence of CoVid 19 deaths.   In particular – air pollution. In Elmhurst Burrow, the concentration of ‘fine particulate matter’  the deadliest type of air pollutant, is 0.0077 milligrams per cubic metre slightly higher than the city average. Fifteen percent of Elmhurst residents are smoker, and 20% of residents are obese, 9% are diabetic, and 23% have high blood pressure.

Particulate matter is so fine it can pass through common commercial masks, scarves and materials. It is associated with lung disease, lung cancer, chronic bronchitis, aggravated asthma, coughing, kidney disease, etc…

In other words, this epicenter was clearly a target due to NYC’s internal failure to clean up the air pollution. The failure of hospital staff to administer the proper medications, and the over use of ventilators which likely increased the death rate dramatically.   In fact, de Blasio stated that the rate of death of those on a ventilator was 85%.

Today, the esteemed mayor has appointed his wife to co-chair a committee: Racial Inequality Task Force – to determine why New York’s poor were disproportionally affected.

Chirlane McCray, de Blasio’s wife, graduated from Wellesley with a degree in – no one knows and earned her claim to fame by writing an essay entitled, “I Am A Lesbian”. Twelve years later, her bio states ‘she entered politics’ – the same year she met de Blasio.   She has recently stated she will be running for ‘office’ in 2021.

Cuomo has now determined that the cause of the high death rate in New York is the fault of nursing homes.   While cruise ships and nursing homes are considered a petri dish for virus’s, they don’t administer the health care – hospitals do.   And in this case it would appear that the treatment for CoVid in some hospitals was the cause of death.

Given the above information, I think we can disband the Racial Inequality Task Force committee and spend the money on actually fixing the problem.
