Police Brutality – Who Is Counting

Okay I’ve tried, I’ve really tried to hold to the value of law, to policemen, to their hardship and honor they do in doing their duty. But, even this off kilter gal knows a hideous wrong when it slams itself in our proverbial arses. If my fourteen year old daughter or son was thrown to the ground at gunpoint by a police officer while wearing her/his bikini and calling, “mama, mama!” Well, I’m sorry by my hairs are raised tall!  Fourteen!  That is called – Police Brutality.

I don’t think that is ‘training’. I think that is truly something more ingrained. A huge fear. A huge anger. That went beyond all justification.  That is beyond defense.

Personally, this goofy white girl, is scared of the police. A police car pulls up behind me and my pulse quickens, I start to check every aspect of my being and behavior, am I this or that? Sweat begins to bead. And the relief when they pass – is enormous!

On the other hand, I did get a speeding ticket recently and I have to say I was so pleasantly surprised by the respect the officer gave, I complimented him as he handed me the ticket. My amazement was huge! He wasn’t brusk, he wasn’t rude or aggressive or anything. He was old school, thank you ma’am. And I appreciated that. And I thought it was important that he know that and know I appreciated that.

But the reactions of this cop in Texas was so very, very scary. This was middle class America replete with a pool and having a party and parents present. This was a fourteen year old girl! This was not good. If she were my daughter, I would mobilize a massive campaign and I imagine there is not a ‘color’ who would take issue. This is so beyond color it is impregnated in Fear. Capital F.  Police Brutality is a mental predisposition.  Police brutality – we are all counting!

The incidence was again highlighted by the atrocity of a young heart, soul and being incarcerated in a New York prison for three years enduring ridiculously heinous starvation and solitary confinement on a child accused of lifting a backpack. I truly cry for his pain. A backpack. My childhood was no sainthood. But I’m not running for a public office either – ever. And so, I can tell the truth.  I am counting Police Brutality.

While I am the first to the plate to state the statistics of crime in the US, I am also an idealist in that I support truth, honesty and a wrong. And although I want to give the police the benefit of the doubt, knowing the statistics, this particular case, these cases cited, were inexcusable and heinous. And, if it were my child, I would not be – happy.

But – I also live in the real world and know that if we continue to persecute cops – we will have NO COPS! And that will not be good. Imagine risking going to jail for life for doing your job? Would you sign up? At that pay grade? I don’t think so. And so, therein lies my support for them as I try to put myself in their mindset instead of the political or media mindset.

Are there really more racial surges? It depends on what comparable statistic you choose. For example, if you choose the statistic of white incarcerations vs black, I’d say no. If you were to compare total population without profiling, I’d say no. Because profiling is NOT A BAD WORD!

Profiling is what every detective in every law enforcement division in the WORLD does! Hello! There is nothing if there isn’t profiling. It’s like the word – judging – when used in the context of a legal court decision – it is good, it is law. When used in the context of society – it is bad. You are judgemental. I digress.

Are the police out of hand? Yes. A resounding yes. Does that make all police bad? No. A resounding no. It makes for a huge problem that requires a Hell of a lot of mediation that isn’t being done. Make the laws, tell us what they are, mark the boundaries and get rid of the hidden agendas and ‘grey’ areas.

I don’t have a solution. Confronting any scene would seem to qualify as a life-death scenario. So how can you possibly make written laws about such a thing? How do you write every potential piece of history? I know that the statistics have specific outcomes. Do I defend myself in that respect?

Damn Straight!

I’m no idiot. You know who is the enemy and you try to make the dissemination in a matter of minutes. Or less. What do you see vs what has happened is a very grey area. But it is a part of every police event. Whether the actions are justified or not is the discourse. What does the law say?

Most aren’t really sure. But a good supportive would be, ‘when in doubt err on the side of the police.’

Technically, they aren’t against us, and oh I wish I could believe this, they are – for us.

The Fall of The Roman Empire – is history repeating?

What caused the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire? And why is it relevant?

Placing a beginning to the decline is difficult, but the actual Fall is said to have occurred around 476 AD.  There are many reasons that contributed to the Fall, but a few notable inferences are worth mentioning, including;  corruption, debauchery, and a decaying army. 

Corruption:  The Emperor had power over all life and death. The Senate had only the authority to counsel the Emperor, but all decisions remained his. As such, a rift of allegiances split the rulers. To protect himself, the Emperor created an elite group of soldiers known as the Praetorian Guard. The Guard grew to such a forceful power of its own that they offered the title and throne to whomever had the money to buy it. No longer was the government a body reigning for the people, the government became it’s own corrupted self consumed entity whose sole purpose was to expand personal wealth. Gluttony and greed became the model as the government was threatened by bankruptcy. The cost of defending the Empire, the failing economics, heavy taxation and high inflation ultimately brought the economy down to nothing. 

A growing government went from 300 full time employees to over 30,000 in just a few years.

Lusting for material pleasure, the flow of gold to the orient to pay for luxury goods led to a shortage of gold to put in Roman coins. Roman currency was devalued to such an extent that a system of bartering returned to one of the greatest civilizations the world had ever known.

Constantly at war, conquering new lands and putting those citizens into poverty caused widespread rebellions. An ever growing military presence was needed to patrol the conquered lands and maintain taxation of non-Romans. The cost of war and the growth of the military burdened an ever depleting budget. The solution was to impose ever increasing taxes which led to even more rebellions.

The skew of wealth and class created a two class system; the elite and the peasants.

Cheap slave labor in turn resulted in the unemployment of the people of Rome who became dependent on hand-outs from the state. The Romans attempted a policy of unrestricted trade but this led to working class Romans being unable to compete with foreign trade. The government was therefore forced to subsidize the working class Romans to make up the differences in prices. This resulted in thousands of Romans choosing just to live on the subsidies and sacrificing their standard of living with an idle life of ease.

As the thousands of unemployed living on government subsidies became bored, this ennui led to civil riots and unrest.  It was because of this ennui that the gladiator games and chariot races were created and funded by the government and the wealthy politicians to quell the unrest. The games were used to murder Christians and other unwanted citizens. The cult was death. If there were not enough criminal elements to be used in the games, the Emperor would order the military to throw citizens from the stands into the arena.  The carnage was incredibly vast.

Decaying Military:

As the government diverted funds to the games, which now accounted for a third of the budget, the military decayed.  They no longer had defensive weapons.  Their leadership was ineffective and corrupt.  The knowledge that the Barbarians gained of Roman warfare and military tactics by serving in the Roman army was eventually turned against the Empire and led to the sack of Rome by the Visigoths.   An ex-army soldier, Alaric, led the invasion. 

Who were these barbarians?

They were the peoples that the Roman Empire had enslaved and conquered.  They were the Visigoths, Arian Christians who compared themselves to Biblical Hebrew people, Huns, a Mongolian and Chinese tribe, and the Vandals, a Germanic tribe.

Ultimately, the aqueducts which supplied Rome with water were destroyed and the people fled.

Debauchery:

As power corrupted, debauchery escalated. The elite upper classes felt empowered to partake in immoral and promiscuous behavior including orgies, sexual fetishes, incest, adultery, and bestiality. Tiberius kept groups of young boys to pleasure him. Nero had a male salve castrated so as to take him as his wife. Harems, concubines, vestal virgins, became the norm. The Games would provide an arena for some of the more perverse atrocities of debauchery. And the citizens were drawn into the lewdness as though drugged.

Brothels and forced prostitution thrived and flourished. There were no boundaries, each elite wanting to out-do the previous.

Gambling and drinking became a way of life.

The parallels of the Fall of The Roman Empire to the US are astounding!

*Our government no longer represent the people, instead their actions are for one purpose, individual gain. Greed, corruption, gluttony rule the very fabric of our nation.

*We are at ‘war’ with multiple nations, instilling a military presence when our military continues to be over-budget, mired in waste, and without consequence for its actions.

*Our president is placed in office by a shadow elite who buy the throne.

*The rise of sex trafficking, child sex trafficking and prostitution with political elite involvement and elite entertainer involvement has crumbled the walls of morality and ethics. Virtue is non-existent.

*Law is no more. Order is no more. Chaos is instilled and lauded.

The Roman Empire lasted about 500 years. It was ultimately brought down by General Odoacer, a Germanic Arian Christian, along with his defected soldiers. The Empire split in half, the western half fell, while the eastern half thrived as the Byzantine Empire.

Is history repeating itself?

The Duggers vs. The Judges Throwing Stones

The Judgers have levied their 100lb thumb on the ethics and morality of – the Duggers. Here we have a family that includes 19 children and we are going to judge an entire family based on the actions of one child’s behavior ten years ago. How amazingly arrogant.

I ask any media Judge to bare the lives of their children. Let’s see we have suicide, divorce, drug abuse, theft, incest, and worse, yet these transgressions are confined and accepted. Why? Why is it okay for you and not okay for ‘those other people’?  When did journalists become a judges throwing stones?

Why is it courageous to change your entire body and personna, live a life that is a fabricated lie for decades, and abandon your spouse and children? Why is a transgression committed and dealt with ten years ago fodder for such a media frenzy not seen since coyotes ravaging the carcass of a rabbit?

The Duggers met the challenge with grace, humility and humbleness, but the attack is now broadened and the entire family is being defamed, libeled and dragged through refuse. Have you no shame media pundits? Have you completely lost your sense and sensibility? The reason you can’t seem to understand what they did, why and how is because you the media have no ethic, have no morality and therefore can not distinguish between good and evil. Using the whip of your pen you stone these people as though you have the moral right to do so and it is disgusting.

You don’t hear, you simply want to persecute. It isn’t about the Duggers, it is about the ideology of Christian thought. It is about the notion that a person who is secular can have the values of a brick and that’s okay, but a Christian must hold to a line that is no less than ‘perfection’. And it is perfection according to your standards.

What?????

So the real argument is that because the Duggers were not ‘perfect’, they had flawed in their perfection, they were therefore no longer qualified to be advocates for Christian values and had opened themselves up to the judges throwing stones.  It was their fault that they allowed themselves to be targets of media coyotes.

Wait. Did you understand that? Unless you are perfect you have no right to preach – anything. Okay let’s take that into the rest of the real world. Does that logic apply to Obama’s good preacher friend, Jeremiah Wright? Does it apply to Louis Farrakhan? Does it apply to President Obama’s cocaine addiction? Unless you are perfect you have no right to be a representative of this country. Because now – you are a hypocrite.

The damage that the media does to peoples lives should have an impact on the journalist’s heart. But it doesn’t. Because journalism for most, has died. The breed is near extinct. They have morphed into an entertainment puppet that has no ideals, no vision, no purpose, no virtue and no legacy. And in the end, when some family member is trying to find a legacy to write on your tombstone, or a eulogy to laud your accomplishments, the resonating voice will be silent, the marker a mere date – and nothing more.

Perfection, dear ones, is something to strive for, a goal, a virtue that can only be known in God. The Duggers have shown admirable love, compassion and tenderness toward the most important entity on this planet – family. Perfection is a quality that includes integrity, evolution, purity, excellence, and honor. I will pray for you.

CHILD SEX ABUSE – A UN Model For Scandal

We read about the scandals, and then they simply disappear. Months and years pass and there is no justice. The victims remain victims, the perpetrators buy their way out and life moves on. The UN is involved in the case involving French soldiers who have been accused of sodomy and rape of young girls and boys as young as 9. The charges were initially levied early 2014 but were suppressed from the press. It wasn’t until the report was ‘leaked’ that the allegations were actually investigated. In fact, the UN has done – absolutely nothing.

When the report was leaked to French authorities in 2015 by a UN employee, the employee was suspended. That does not look as though the UN is acting with integrity and concern whatsoever! They purposefully classified the information and sat on it. Of course, in doing nothing, the abuse continued unabated and they, once again, became complicit. In legal terms, by doing nothing about the child sex abuse, the UN became a conspirator in the scandal.

Why didn’t the UN act?

Thirty suspects have been named. But still no one has been charged with a crime. The charges must be proven. How? And therein lies the problem with child sex abuse cases in general.

A similar story came to light in 2008 about Canadian soldiers serving in Afghanistan witnessing sodomy and rape at military bases. One soldier claimed that he witnessed a young boy wearing a wig somewhat askew and smeared lipstick being led into a room where he was systematically sodomized by troops. When the soldier asked his commanding officer if they could intervene he was told to ignore it because it was just ‘their culture’. Child sex abuse – is a culture?  Another soldier heard an Afghan army officer raping a young boy. When he saw the young boy afterward, his bowels and lower intestines were falling out his body.

Inquiries were made. And nothing was done.

When did we become the advocates of the rapists?

It’s not the first time the UN has turned a blind eye to rape and child sex abuse. In 2001, they were accused of actually running a child sex trafficking and prostitution organization in Bosnia. UN police were on traffickers payroll. The Bosnia UN head, Jacques Klein was transferred to Liberia. While in Liberia, the same accusations were made.  Klein disappeared.  NO one was arrested because, you see, UN peacekeepers have diplomatic immunity from being charged with any crime while in their host country.

So if the UN is complicit in child sex trafficking, why are they also the international police?

In 2010, the UN Stabilization Force in Haiti was found to repeatedly rape and prostitute young girls, very young girls. The list is nauseating; Haiti, Bosnia, Democratic Republic of Congo, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Cambodia, East Timor, Guinea and Kosovo have all reported the same UN atrocities. These are the so called “Peacekeepers”, 120,000 worldwide. So, how does one become a UN peacekeeper?

The UN has tasked itself with providing peace, security, human rights and social development. Salaries range from $37k to $120k annually and are completely ‘tax exempt’. In addition they offer; rental subsidy, dependency allowance, travel and shipping expenses, assignment grant, hardship allowance, hazard pay and rest and recuperation break. Vacation time is allotted between 18 and 30 days in addition to ‘home leave travel’ to renew your social, cultural and family ties and a pension plan that becomes effective after six months.

In order to qualify as a police peacekeeper the requirements state; younger than 62, 1 year of driving experience, a 60% or above passing score for language proficiency, five years of professional experience, basic computer skills and a firearms test.

In the Congo, UN peacekeepers managed to rape several hundred young children rationalizing that the older children might have AIDS. No one was prosecuted. The same continuation of abuse remains without justice. Often the crime is changed to prostitution alleviating the perpetrator of any transgression. It would seem that although the UN representatives gasp and remark at the heinous atrocity, the file is then – filed.

If we aren’t protecting the children – if they haven’t the value or worth – then why bother? The UN has become the model for all organizations pursuing the trade of child sex trafficking. In a report released this year, UN ODC Director, Antonio Maria Costa, stated, “many governments are still in denial.” A strange hypocrisy given the denial of the UN in its own history of horrific child sex abuse and trafficking. Of 155 countries in the report, 62 had NO convictions. Costa’s advice? We need to step up the fight.

So what’s the solution?

  1. foremost, absolve peacekeepers and their superiors  right to immunity from prosecution
  2. immediate suspension of pay which will give cause to speedier court hearings rather than the languishing 2-5 years
  3. potential house arrest or deportation so that no confrontational contact can be made with victims
  4. all legal fees and expenses should be treated as the cost of the perpetrator, the UN may not have any monetary or intrinsic influence or intrusion in the legal proceedings

Above all – make the UN accountable.  They can not police what they participate in – child trafficking and child sex abuse.  If they are the wolf in the hen house, we need a house made of bricks, not sand.

Personally I don’t understand why they pay no taxes…

The Fall of Family and the Rise of State Children

The disintegration, or fall of family, has been a focal point for over 2500 years. Plato believed that family was an obstacle to progress. As such, Plato believed that the raising of children and the welfare of women were best handled by the State. The abolition of family is a communist agenda shared in our current society by the extreme liberal socialist position. Beginning with the working woman of feminism and the destructive belief that caring for and raising children is beneath the value of a woman, to child care and nannies, this universal charge has altered our society in a very negative way as we hand our children over to be raised as State children.

It is a fact accepted by many scholars and sociologists that the fall of the black community began in the 1960’s with the shift away from traditional family values and the loss of ‘father’. But it didn’t stop there by any means. With the rise of materialism, women joined the labor force in order to have a ‘better life’. A life that meant foregoing family for many and created a secondary rift in the fall of family and family values.

It comes within the pretty package of the ‘me’ generation that values self over everything else. Coaxing women to continually pay more attention to self has morphed into a proliferation of narcissism greater than possibly any other time in history. And the media play it like a mantra.

Add a pinch of commercial consumption and a dash of shifting priorities of worth tied to money, and the witches concoction is a perfect Fall. For example: there is a contingent of individuals that believes that global warming is an out-of-balance phenomena that will wreak havoc on our earth and possibly destroy our very existence. Okay, let’s use the same statement in a different arena: We are a society out-of-balance and out of touch with reality and the havoc this lack of moral code, moral ethics and state run family will have on our continuance – is not positive.

The very fabric of our existence is at risk of crumbling and yet the focus is in the proverbial sand.

While the concept of a police state is not new, never before have we lived in a realm of shadows that is so intent on creating, molding, and structuring our demise. This world wide design is NOT for the greater good, it is being manifested for the elite good of a few who see this world as a stage for their benefit and the populace as marionettes whose only worth is what they can do to benefit – them.  Children are an obstacle – so give them to the State.

Social Services has been given the right to take our children to be raised by the State. The consequences are proven disastrous; without the stimulus of a family’s love, a child’s brain actually fails to thrive and evolve. Black spaces exist where there should be brain matter. This is the evolution of human beings that a State family endorses.

I remember reading fervently about child development before I had my first. I wanted to be perfect, I wanted my children to be perfect. I read of a study done in an African village in which the newborn is attached by papoose to the mother every hour of the day until they could walk. The child then followed his mother and siblings everywhere as they gathered the fruits. The father would teach basic fishing and hunting skills. And these children thrived and excelled exceptionally. It was found that these children showed advanced motor skills, emotional skills, and intelligence. But it all changed. When the child turned five, it was the ritual to separate the child from family and send them to another village to be raised by the community. It was found that these same children whose advancement compared to developed societies was significantly greater, stagnated. They remained a five year old intellectually and emotionally – forever.

Who does it better – State or Family?

When our media creates a false reality (Plato), and our government houses families in a state controlled institution (Plato) and eradicates purpose, vision and creation evolution (Plato), we are left in a state of moronic evolution where art, free thought, free will, industrial and technological evolution, and freedom are the cost. It is a slow, constant chipping away and the only way to stop it – is to see it. Until we accept the ugliness that is suppressing society, we can not change it.

Family has power. It is this power that is feared more than anything else!

When my youngest child was in elementary school I took issue with a teacher who believed that it was her responsibility to teach her morality to my child. You see, my son had accidentally left his homework in his locker. He asked to retrieve it and the teacher refused. Instead, she chose to give him an “F”. She claimed that she was teaching my fourth grade son a valuable lesson for when he became a model citizen in the business world. She stated that such permission would never be granted an employee in reality, therefore it should not be granted my 11 year old. Of course, the fact that this woman had never worked in the ‘real world of business’ was never considered an issue…

In order to protest this morality, I had to stand before a tribunal of six school officials. I argued my case. Not surprising, the six did not back down. The State system of morality and ethics is NOT what I want impregnated on my children!

With the forfeiture of family, we are now forfeiting our children. Instead of aligning our philosophy with Aristotle, the state has intervened with Plato.

Pay attention. The role of family is the very structure of society. Without it, society is nothing more than a herd of cattle – but maybe that’s the agenda…

The South Sea of China; At The Helm of The Art of Diplomacy

China is dredging waters off it’s coast and expanding its land mass. The US is nervous because they believe it is a ‘ploy’ to create a greater military presence over the waters which the US claims are international.

So that’s the story, but what does it all mean?

The South China Sea is more of an inlet that is bordered by China, Vietnam, Malaysia, The Philippines, and Brunei. The area is home to vast oil and gas reserves. While the Chinese government demarcated a dotted line of territory sometime in 1949, it only came under dispute in the 1970’s when The Philippines and Malaysia wanted a fair share. Given that the strait is not just a potential for oil and gas but also serves as a fishing center and a major shipping territory, the dispute heightened. By the 1990’s Brunei and Vietnam also made a claim to the waters.

An agreement was signed between Vietnam and China. But just two months later India stated that Vietnam had sold to it rights to engage in oil and gas exploration within areas that had been retained by China. That didn’t go over well.

In the meantime, Vietnam, Malaysia, The Philippines and Taiwan have quietly been building their own maritime defensives in the sea. Nothing was said. But China was tired of the games and out-sized them all building land masses that dwarfed their neighbors. Everyone became miffed because China’s aggression was bigger and better.

Enter McCain. McCain has a penchant for stoking aggression. He also has a penchant for butting into regime change agendas. Granted that will never happen in China, but coup disruption has plagued Malaysia of late, Thailand, and a failed coup in The Philippines within just the last year. So McCain’s solution is to allow for the US exchange of weapons to Vietnam, a communist Marxist regime, for the purpose of standing up against China. Really? Sort of reminds me of the Arab swordsman wielding an over-sized scimitar while fiercely challenging Indian Jones to his death only to be swiftly peeled away with one shot from his pistol.

US interference has absolutely no positive gain. If the US determines it has the right to step in as the divier of rights, much like the Israel and Palestine agenda, the US will not prevail. Adding tension to tension does not make for peace. But McCain has an ulterior agenda. Malaysia news makes no mention of the China dredging. In Vietnam, the US is pressuring their government to halt ‘wave erosion’ land reclamation. And while The Philippines news only makes reference to the concerns pressed by the US, it would seem that the Asian countries really haven’t much issue and that the issue is a US creation.

Perhaps the true concern is that the Asian countries will form an alliance that makes these waters restricted from US shipping. One third of the world’s liquified natural gas passes through the South China Sea. The bulk of it originates in the Persian Gulf. In 1994, the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea was ratified by most Asian countries in the maritime area. It defined rights and uses of natural resources in the area. The US did not sign the agreement. Unfortunately, by definition the rights that allow for a 200 nautical mile entitlement – overlap. Another oops factor of the UN.

Bottom line – we, the US do not have a lick of upper hand in this dispute. We do not have any legal rights whatsoever as we are not a party to the maritime treaty. What we do have is the ability to politely bow in deference to some countries who simply refuse to be policed by the US. Instigating further animosity with China will not be in our best interest – ever. Sometimes, it is simply best to remove ourselves from a situation that can not and will not have a positive outcome and pocket our ego.

In 1959 the art of diplomacy was over shadowed by the release of a game by the same name. It’s stated objective was:

“Luck plays no part in Diplomacy. Cunning and cleverness honesty and perfectly-timed betrayal are the tools needed to outwit your fellow players. The most skillful negotiator will climb to victory over the backs of both enemies and friends. Who do you trust?”
