Pesticide Peril – not for the faint of heart

Germany’s flagship company, Bayer, is facing 18,400 lawsuits, predominantly from California whereby their subsidiary, Monsanto, has been cited for its toxic, cancer causing pesticide, glyphosate.   Bayer bought Monsanto for $63 billion one year ago and today Bayer’s total market value is less than what it paid for just Monsanto with it’s stock plummeting 50%. While Bayer claims that there is absolutely nothing wrong with the chemical, they are fast-tracking an alternative.

There are 26 countries that ban or restrict the use of Monsanto products including: Germany, China, India, France, Hungary, Austria, Australia, Switzerland, Italy, Poland, Luxembourg and Mexico.   The four largest pesticide companies in the world are: Syngenta, owned by China – the world leader of agro-chemicals, Bayer, headquartered in Germany, DOW, headquartered in Michigan, and BASF, also headquartered in Germany  (they purchased Monsanto’s seed division).

In the US alone 851 million pounds of pesticides are used annually.   90% of private wells sourced by groundwater contain pesticides. The contamination results in 14 million fish deaths, 67 million bird deaths and 20,000 new cancer patients each year.

The most prolific user of pesticides is China at 4 trillion pounds per year. Obviously their ban of Monsanto is purely a business decision and not an environmental one.

The top consumers in order of pounds: China, US, Argentina, Thailand, Brazil, Italy, France, Canada, Japan, and India.   The impact on the smaller countries is significantly more hazardous given the concentration levels.

Glyphosate is not the only banned chemical that is showing up in our food chain, paraquat and chlorpyrifos which are banned in the EU are a common supplement to Brazils exports including wheat, soy, cotton, dairy products, coffee, tea, eggs and beef. YUM!  But chlorpyrifo’s are the brainchild of DOW and used for insect control on citrus fruits, wheat, corn, cotton, soybeans and sugar beets in the US.   They are NOT banned in the US despite serious potential side effects including:  vomiting, stomach cramps, muscle twitching, tremors, weakness, loss of coordination, unconsciousness, loss of bladder control, convulsions, difficulty breathing, paralysis and of course – death.

Farmers have lobbied for the continued use claiming they stand to lose up to 70% of their crop if insects are not controlled – and there is no alternative product. But, while they claim there is no alternative, that would be a false argument given that organic farming utilizes just that – alternatives.   It is not that their are no alternatives, it is that the alternatives make them non-competitive in the mass market.

Sometimes alternatives may be a predator insect, as in butterflies eat aphids, but as we are well aware, the cost of alternative farming exceeds the mass market and the competition for the general public.

Notable elite such as Bill Gates et all, Buffet, Zuckerberg, those with the means, negate anything mass produced and eat only organic.   While they advocate the use of chemical laden foods for feeding the world, they are wholly repugnant at the thought of consuming such for themselves or their families.

Starbucks coffee is imported from Brazil and Columbia. The term Arabica on the package refers to a type of plant, not a place.  So when you are choking down that latte, or espresso, or French Roast, know that you are drinking a hefty dose of yummy pesticides aka Latin America.  Brazil is known to have the highest per capita consumption of pesticides.

According to the International Agency for Research on Cancer, glyphosate causes cancer, most notably Hodgkins. Nerve damage is the other leading medical ailment associated with the chemical.

A California couple’s settlement award for glyphosate poisoning which was initially $2 billion was recently reduced to $87 million.   Still, given 18,400 separate lawsuits at an award rate of $80 million, that would amount to nearly $1.5 trillion.   At present, Bayer’s annual net is roughly $400 million, so that would wipe out all profits for about 4 years.

Agro companies, pharma companies, they have an agenda.   And it isn’t – health.  Let the buyer beware.  But let the buyer also be informed.

FBI – A Secret Society Within a Swamp

Emails have emerged between the disgraced FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, who were having an affair, that references a “Secret Society” within the FBI. Simultaneously, it is revealed that 5 months of text messages out of 50,000 between them have ‘vanished’.   Hardly coincidental.

Current FBI Director, Christopher Wray was asked to fire Andrew McCabe, and to date he has refused claiming that if McCabe goes – so goes he. Wray worked under Comey until 2005 while heading the Enron investigation. He unexpectedly quit and joined the law firm of King and Spalding.

As a litigation partner at the law firm of King and Spalding, Wray was tasked with representing unnamed Fortune 100 companies, including healthcare, energy, pharma, and transportation, being investigated by the SEC, IRS or OCC. His allegiances would seem to have undergone a dramatic shift from his prior service during the Bush administration.

King and Spalding have offices sprawling throughout the US, London, Moscow, Saudi Arabia, Dubai and more. One of their more notable clients includes – Monsanto.   Hillary was an avid backer of Monsanto, openly supporting their GMO initiatives. In turn, they donated heavily to the Clinton Foundation.

In addition, King and Spalding represented Muhammed Al Adahi, who was held at Guantanamo Bay for terrorist charges as an Al Qaeda affiliate. They lost the case, however in August 2016, Obama released Adahi and 14 other detainees sending them to the United Arab Emirates. Adahi was originally from Yemen. In 2014, Human Rights Watch, a Soros organization, sent a letter to Obama urging him to repatriate all Guantanamo Yemeni’s.

Wray’s term at the law firm included a major controversy in which the firm contracted with the US House of Representatives to argue the Defense of Marriage Act. They subsequently withdrew from the case amidst pressure from their other client Coca Cola, and the Human Rights Campaign.

In 2014, Politico and Forbes revealed hacked email correspondence between Coca-Cola and Hillary which purportedly gave way to a ‘cozy relationship’ between the two in which each asserted a back-scratching tit-for-tat rapport.   In addition, Coca-Cola’s donations tot the Clinton Foundation ranged between $9 and $15 million.

Human Rights Campaign, Christopher Wray, Andrew McCabe, Monsanto and Coca-Cola were all heavily weighted in the Hillary camp.

The idea that there is NOT a ‘secret society’ within the FBI is naïve at best.   The notion that all of this is a coincidence – is equally naïve and fundamentally foolish.

King and Spalding notably work in the Middle East in compliance with all aspects of Sharia Principles and Law in the fields of Finance and Investment.   These principles involve the ideology that all wealth belongs to Allah and no Muslim is expected to seek moderation in materialistic wealth, and refrain from the accumulation of too much wealth given his responsibility to all others.   The fact that the Emir of UAE is sitting atop a wealth pile valued at over $150 billion while 85% of the country is populated by ‘expatriates’, (a novel way of defining slaves), would hardly seem to match this Sharia concept.   The UAE ranks a third place tie with Canada for the number of high wealth individuals.   First, on a per capita basis.

It would seem that Sharia Principles of finance simply means accumulation in this instance.

Bottom line:  Wray was tagged from a nearly $10 million per year salary to be FBI Director wherein a Swamp of “Secret Society” intrigue ruled.   The fact that the New York Times, Diane Feinstein, John McCain and nearly every Democrat rallied behind Wray would seem a bit too convenient…

Bayer-Monsanto; A merger made in Hell

The Bayer-Monsanto merger is more than a merger, it has the potential to become THE agricultural giant of the world. And anytime one giant has the power over our entire food supply, we need to take notice!

  1. If TTIP passes, BaySanto would have the ability to force it’s GMO on everyone.
  2. US farm subsidies now cost taxpayers over $20 billion per year thanks to a new bill pushed through Congress with little attention in 2014.
  3. The largest subsidies currently go to corn and soybean mega-farms
  4. Many of the subsidized grain crops are for animal feed
  5. Approximately 90-95% of all corn and soybean in the US is GMO
  6. In 2003 Bayer bought/partnered with GW Pharmaceuticals, a UK based firm that makes drugs derived from cannabis which is distributed in Canada and the UK.
  7. The medicinal cannabis market will continue to grow exponentially and the need for a GMO product laced with Monsanto pesticides will be the outcome.

Who benefits from the current farm subsidies?

Monsanto, Cargill, Dreyfus, ADM, the largest corporate farms, and feedlot operators. The largest subsidy for corn is given to CHS, formally Harvest States Cooperatives. They have assets totaling $15.2 billion and annual revenues of $34.6 billion. Their Agriculture Subsidies 1995 to 2014? $49,489,434. Walker Place Farms has received nearly $20million. NAPI Farms about $20million.

In 2016 there is a glut of corn and soy and it is predicted to continue thru 2025, according to the USDA. What that means is that subsidies to these farmers will be even higher as corn and soy prices are less than half what they were a few years ago.

According to Marion Nestle, who has been writing and teaching at NYU, “If you examine how its (the 2014 Food Bill) incentives line up, you quickly see that it strongly favors the industrial agriculture of the Midwest and South over that of the Northeast and West; methods requiring chemical fertilizers, pesticides and herbicides over those that are organic and sustainable; and commodity crops for animal feed and ethanol rather than “specialty” crops (translation: fruits and vegetables) for human consumption.”

Imagine the next subsidized BaySanto crop – cannabis. Because if cannabis laced pharmaceuticals are the next drug generation, I would bet this mega-giant will be planting crops now – perhaps in the Ukraine land-grabs or the Africa land-grabs, subsidized by the US Agriculture with crop farms here.

Nice package.

While feeding the world is becoming more and more problematic, lacing our food with cancer causing toxins has aggravated our healthcare system to the point of no return. Despite billions on research, cancer rates are rising. The US now has the dubious honor of having the 7th highest cancer rates in the world with prostate, breast, lung and colon continuing as the most prevalent. More GMO = more cancer.

Additionally, GMO products consistently are shown to have less nutrient value, thus while we consume food – it provides less and less nutritional value, we become more susceptible to diseases, obesity rises, healthcare costs rise, and people will die. A vicious cycle emerges that would seem to have nothing to do with The People, and everything to do with The Profit. And in the meantime, the small farmers, the organic farmers, are continually pummeled – which is why their cost and their pricing is so much higher.

A scientist was recently driving through soy country in Missouri and noticed the crops were curled up and dead. Apparently, a new and improved herbicide produced by Monsanto called Dicamba, is the culprit. It is being used to kill weeds that are prominent as a result of their new GMO soy seed, Xtend. It is being used because the glyphosate in Monsanto Roundup is no longer as effective against certain weeds, and so Monsanto set out to find a better seed that could withstand the toxins of Dicamba.

Unfortunately, Dicamba vaporizes quickly and blows with the wind to neighboring farms, to neighboring streams and reservoirs, and to crops that aren’t subsidized – like vegetables. Monsanto blames the farmers. Lawsuits have been filed against neighbor farms, but the fines are so ridiculously low, $1000, no one cares and the spraying continues unabated.

A weed expert studied Dicamba and its ability to kill the culprit pigweed – after three generations of seed, he found that Dicamba was no longer effective against the weed. Like insects – weeds develop immunity – and thrive.

Monsanto is well aware of this cycle. Bayer has already moved into the herbicide, insecticide, fungacide market. And they are no angel when it comes to the GMO market having settled a lawsuit in Missouri awarding $750million to farmers when their LibertyLink GMO rice contaminated neighboring farms and resulted in 11,000 plaintiffs filing suit.

It would appear the two companies are equally driven by an ethic that does not favor – you and I.

ZIKA – A Monsanto, Syngenta, Vaccine Fraud?

According to a report by the National Institute of Health, vaccinating pregnant women for the flu provided no measurable difference in the determination of contracting the flu or having any risks therein. In addition, hospital visits for vaccinated and unvaccinated women were no different. In other words, the flu vaccine provided no measurable protection from any respiratory illness.

However, according to Mayo Clinic, and the US Department of Health, the flu vaccine was the triggering cause of Guillain Barre. Numerous lawsuits have been filed and settled. Given that in 1986 the pharmaceuticals were relieved of any liability for their vaccines, who pays?   The government, through a fund supported by taxpayers – you and I – at a cost of over $2 billion.

Included in the inserts for the flu vaccine that warn of potential side effects is listed – Guillain Barre.  Oops.

Given the US has the largest instance of both Guillain Barre and microcephaly – and the smallest incidence of Zika virus mosquitoes, the link seems rather feeble at best.

In a report issued by the Oxford Journal in 2013, there was a direct link between Guillain Barre and the H1N1 flu Vaccine.

Why the attempt to create a new causal trend in the Zika virus?

A. By diverting the causal affect from vaccines to a mosquito – there go the lawsuits…

B. Zika will create a new vaccine – profit motivation and eliminate the flu vaccine fears.

C. Further destabilization of the Brazilian economy

D. Glyphosate poisoning

E.  All of the ABOVE

In 1975 the cost of vaccinating a child for all illnesses was $10. It is estimated by the National Institute of Health that cost will be $1225 per child as of 2020.

As of 2012, a child received 49 vaccinations before the age of 6. As of 2016, there are now 76 vaccine doses administered to a child between birth and 18 with an additional 271 waiting approval by the FDA. And there are no studies that show the interaction of vaccines and their potential risks. The studies only cover a singular vaccine administration.

The largest vaccine pharma is GlaxoSmithKline based in the UK with annual revenues over $35 billion compared to roughly $13.7 billion in 1999. Their nearest competitor, Bristol-Meyers-Squibb had revenue of $16.5 billion in 2015, down from $20 billion in 1999. An independent organization provides ratings of the pharma industry according to their improvement in making vaccines and medicines more available – Access to Medicine Index – funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. GlaxoKlineSmith is ranked No. 1 despite eight major lawsuits for; adulturated drugs, false advertising, antitrust, kickbacks, market manipulation, bribery, tax fraud, price fixing and an ongoing investigation for foreign corruption and fraud.

And while pharma profits are a known grunge affect, and Bill Gates hand in the till is also well established, there are shadow political and GMO ploys as well:

I.   Soros and the US were backing the loss of Dilma Rouseff, President of Brazil, in the 2014 election cycle. The favored insert was Aecio Neves as their chosen President. Why? To put a hole in the BRICS who pose a very steadfast opposition to the Soros agenda. Rouseff is steadfastly aligned with the BRIC nations, and Neves would have changed that alliance to an EU/US bloc. The loss of Neves in 2014 left an angry hole and every viable means to create destruction within the country has been the pinnacle of action since. It’s called – revenge.

Enter – Zika, another mosquito born virus that has been around for decades. Enter the creation of a pandemic. Enter – warnings against Brazil travel. Enter assertions that the virus is ‘linked’ to a host of diseases that could damage children envitro, and now in addition, cause a rare neurological disorder, Guillain Barre. Warnings circulate NOT to visit Brazil! Warnings circulate to ban the Olympics.

Who are the BRIC countries? Brazil, China, Russia and India. They stand in firm alliance and offer a viable opponent to the World Order of Soros. Without their defeat, Soros goal can not be achieved.

To date, according to the CDC, there are no locally generated Zika virus cases in the US– and 107 travel related. And while the fear media claim that upwards of 4 million people are infected with the virus, it is an abstract number given that according to WHO: a) 80% of people bitten have no symptoms, b) a large percentage simply get flu symptoms, c) few even consult a doctor. There are NO commercially available laboratories for testing the Zika virus – the only source is through the CDC as well as a ‘few’ health departments in the US and one in Brazil.

II.   Oxitec is a British biotech company that has been releasing the genetically modified mosquitoes in Brazil. They also claim to be able to diagnose the Zika virus. Coincidentally, their CEO AND Chief Scientific Officer, were formally with Syngenta, the GMO competitor to Monsanto. Their Regulatory Affairs Manager formerly worked in the UK obtaining commercial food approval for GM crops in Europe. She was instrumental in the botched ‘Golden Rice’ debacle, and her most recent post was with Syngenta. Head of Business Development was a former marketing guru for – sigh… Syngenta.

You see, Brazil is the second largest producer of GMO crops and pesticide use in the WORLD.

Which bodes the question – are Monsanto, Syngenta, and Bill Gates creating a false epidemic to hide the fact that glyphosate pesticides are truly the culprit?

Polluted Tap Water – PCB’s and Lead Poisoning

Seattle is suing Monsanto for polluting the Lower Duwamish River. The river feeds into Puget Sound.

The pollutant?  PCB.  PCB’s are known to cause cancer, reproductive disorders, nervous system disorders, endocrine disorders, and damage to the immune system and were being named as a possible health hazard as far back as 1930. Lead poisoning has been documented to have occurred as far back as 6500 BC. We have known – and ignored.

PCB was used in the production of plastics, adhesives, fire retardants, pesticides, ink, lubricants and more. While Monsanto was responsible for 99% of all PCB use, it was banned by the EPA in 1977. A plant in Sauget Illinois was the largest producer of PCB’s. And while Monsanto knew of the toxicity levels, they failed to do anything – continuing to dump excesses and mass produce for profit.

Anniston, Alabama was the site of one such Monsanto dumping and ultimately won a $700 million lawsuit in 2003 – 26 years after the chemical was banned.

A privately owned quarry in Southern Wales was the allowed dumping site of Monsanto between 1967 and 1972. Despite a 2005 report that found the site contained over 75 different toxic chemicals, Monsanto refused to take responsibility for the pollution and cleanup. The Wales Environmental Agency decided that the least costly remediation was to place an engineered cap on the quarry at a cost of 1.5 million pounds. Monsanto denied responsibility but agreed to pay a ‘portion’ of the cost.

Sauget, Illinois is a suburb of St. Louis. Not really a true town, it is a company town where polluting companies came to find root from regulations. The town was incorporated by Monsanto so that it could define its own regulations and as a result became a US dumping ground for multiple pollutants.

Sauget is now considered an industrial disaster. A creek traveling thru Sauget is said to be so polluted that when an animal came in contact with the sludge water, they died within 24 hours from chemical burns. The EPA erected a fence around the creek. The creek feeds into the Mississippi River.

Sauget is the site of two EPA Superfunds. The Lower Duwamish River is the site of an EPA Superfund. And despite the fact that Monsanto was the polluter, despite the fact that Monsanto continues to pollute, despite the fact that Monsanto is worth a net $13 billion – the Superfund Fund is empty and thus taxpayers are responsible for the cleanup cost.

How is it that Monsanto continues to skate liability while oil companies pay?

Is it possible that the crime rates of St. Louis are linked to decades of ingested pollutants?

The mayor of Flint Michigan is asking for Federal remedial funds to deal with the ‘behavioral issues’ that will arise as a result of the lead poisoning. Because children exposed to lead have significant learning disabilities, communication impairment and aggressive behavior issues.  Issues that have actually been documented for centuries as a result of blood lead levels.

Since 1901, the murder rate in St. Louis has tripled. In a 1993 report conducted by the Upper Mississippi River Water Quality Initiative, the toxicity of the river was reason for concern for the safety of residents along its channel. The primary toxin cited was PCB, but also included heavy metals and pesticides. The report cites two primary sources; agricultural runoff of pesticides (Monsanto) and Industrial pollutants (Monsanto). The report states that despite PCB’s being banned, they seemed to have actually accumulated and persisted in the environment and in sediments.

In 2015, the St. Louis water was once again afoul with the smell of geosmin. Geosmin is in itself not toxic but it reveals that the water that has this odor is surface water, potentially polluted with sediment and all the same toxins that are now in the Mississippi River having flowed through sediment to get there.

While water quality has improved as treatment facilities have improved their measuring capabilities and their extraction techniques, these measures are relatively new. Decades of pollutants streamed through the taps and were ingested by children. The consequences of which we may just now be made aware as we learn more about the causes and effects. Unfortunately, the damage is done.

While Monsanto is a well known progenitor of pollutants and toxic chemicals, it continues to – skate.  Why? They have the protection of the EPA and the FDA.  Numerous articles cite former Monsanto employees and/or executives who later worked for the EPA and FDA.  A rather obvious conflict of interest.

*Lidia Watrud filed two patents on behalf of Monsanto in 1986 and again in 1999. She worked as a Microbial Researcher and Biotech Researcher for Monsanto. For the EPA she worked as a Principle Investigator, Environmental Effects Lab Researcher and is currently a Manager for New Technologies for USDA at the EPA. She is currently on the Board of Monsanto.

*Linda Fisher currently VP at DuPont for Health and Environmental Safety formerly was second in command at the EPA and before that a VP at Monsanto.

Within the EPA’s tasked $8.6 billion budget for 2016, they state they are tasked with providing access to clean, safe drinking water as well as a reliable and effective wastewater system.  According to their 2016 budget, they are providing dedicated funding of $4.05 billion to be allocated to “Protecting America’s Waters”.

The EPA lists as one of its seven major accomplishments; “instrumental in improving the health of rivers, lakes and coastal waters. It has stopped billions of pounds of pollution from fouling the water…”   However when reviewing the top 50 most polluted waterways in 1996, and the top most polluted waterways today – there seems to be no change…

In the world of business, that does not represent an accomplishment or success.

In fact it is criminal.

Monsanto – Manuevering Manipulation

GMO Labeling, tired of hearing and not hearing what is going on? You are not alone!

As bizarre as it may seem, sometimes it is necessary to read news from France, Russia, or Germany to find out what is happening in the US! In the case of new GMO labeling laws, I found the news on a Russian site.

Mike Pompeo, a Republican from Kansas introduced a bill in April 2014 that would over-ride states ability to require GMO labeling. It’s a Civil War tactic that didn’t go over well then, and has a good chance of not going over well now. It undermines the ability of individual states to make their own decisions that represent the wills of their people. Instead, it gives inalienable power to the federal government to create bias, disproportionate rulings, judgmental decisions, and as in the IRS scandal, the commission of outright fraud.

If passed, the Bill would have the oversight of the US Department of Agriculture in determining whether GMO labeling is accurate and preempts state and local authority’s restrictions. In other words, what you don’t know won’t hurt you – Bill. Why do they care?

The lobbying party is of course – Monsanto. The deceit is that there is “no scientific evidence that GMO’s cause any harm”. In fact, there are volumes of scientific evidence that discredit GMO’s and the necessary Monsanto pesticides that are literally dumped on the crops. Monsanto has created an interesting backing from Republicans and Democrats alike. They cross lines to manipulate an agenda without ethical values.

First, let’s take a closer look at the US Department of Agriculture: Headed by Tom Vilsack, a Republican by name only who openly supports Obama and Hillary? He was appointed the moment Obama took office and was supported by unions including; Corn Refiners Association, American Farm Bureau Federation and the Environmental Defense Fund. He was opposed by Organic farmers amid claims that he was squeezing out the small businesses in favor of large conglomerate farmers. He has also sided with GMO farmers against restrictions concerning overlapping pesticide contamination in water and soil.

It is this same department, the USDA, who is called in to determine if GMO farms are operating according to law – including the lawsuit in Oregon that saw GMO wheat illegally infiltrate organic farms.

In other words, the same US government organization that is tasked with regulating our food and farms, is run by Monsanto.

Corn Refiners Association – well they are all about high fructose corn syrup – which is 90% GMO and has been embattled in lawsuits over it’s claim to being ‘natural’. Opponents point out that lead and radon gas are ‘natural’ too, that does not make them – safe! They are backed by Cargill – heavily into industrial farming and GMO’s.

American Farm Bureau Federation – it opposes GMO labeling, supports industrial farming, and regularly seeks to undermine the Clean Air and Clean Water Environmental Acts. In addition they lobby extensively for greater subsidized crop insurance and have invoked massive power efforts to dictate and control political candidates.

Environmental Defense Fund – is hardly environmental, it advocates and lobbies on behalf of political candidates. Largest funder = Julian Robertson, retired Hedge Fund Manager who invested heavily in Monsanto.

Who are the USDA executives, and US government regulators:

Michael Taylor, a former VP for Monsanto, turned Monsanto lobbyist/lawyer – appointed by Obama as USDA administrator and FDA Deputy Commissioner, approved Monsanto growth hormones for cows.

Margaret Miller, a former Monsanto Chemical Lab Supervisor, wrote a report on hormones’ safety and then took a job at the FDA where she approved her own report.

Islam Siddiqui, a former Monsanto lobbyist, wrote the USDA’s food standards, allowing corporations to label irradiated and genetically engineered foods as “organic.” Appointed by Obama as Agricutlture Trade Representative.

Ramona Romero, the corporate counsel to Dupont, nominated by President Obama to serve as General Counsel for the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

Roger Beachy, the former director of the Monsanto-funded Danforth Plant Science Center, appointed by Obama as the Director of the USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture

Rajiv Shah, the former Gates Foundation agricultural-development director served as Obama’s USDA Under Secretary for Research Education and Economics and Chief Scientist, now head of USAID.

Solicitor General Elena Kagan who ruled in an appeal that Monsanto was not guilty in a suit brought by organic farmers in the Roundup Ready alfalfa case, was nominated to the Supreme Court by Obama.

Ramona Romero, corporate counsel to DuPont, was nominated by President Obama to serve as General Counsel for the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

Most Recently: It is Monsanto that has been implicated in the Africa Land Grabs. It is Monsanto that has been implicated in the takeover of Ukraine as former President Yanokovich was against GMO’s and current President Poroshenko is a ‘bring em on in!’ major advocate.

Between 1997 and 2014, Monsanto filed 145 lawsuits against farmers – they never lost ONE. The deck is stacked and the victims are not just the farmers, or the organic growers, but all of us, every US citizen, as we helplessly watch our government manipulate, commandeer and force their greed on us at the expense of literal lives.

UKRAINE – A Country For Sale – going, going – gone!

It has taken time, but finally, Mr. Soros has acknowledged a ‘financial’ interest in Ukraine. In fact, he has stipulated that infrastructure and agriculture are his prime targets of interest. And in a bid that looks strikingly similar to a threat, he has said he will invest $1 billion on the condition that the West and Europe ante up as well. He goes on to preach and banter, to reprimand, and to scold as though speaking to little bratty children, which is quite possibly exactly what he thinks of most people in this world.

So, the focus is not on oil or gold, but on the two resources that will out-pace those commodities for a millennium to come – water and food. It is estimated that by 2020 the world will see colossal food shortages. It can be assumed that Mr. Soros interest in Infrastructure is simply the means for transporting his newfound agri-goods to market. As for the citizens, for the country, they are of no consequence because the game is only about money. It is the same message I spoke about in Africa and Asia – land grabbing for agriculture. Food is the crisis. Many countries have destroyed their available land with poor farming methods, pesticides, and incompetent crop rotations so they need more. They need pristine land and they need water.

As it has panned, this was the goal from the beginning of the coup. Maybe the powers that be did not anticipate the revolts that would follow. Maybe the powers naively thought that the people would follow like cows or sheep to slaughter. The land grab of Ukraine has proven more difficult than expected, but still, they did prevail. The deaths were by-products of what was more important – the greater good for the wealthy. It is the new burgeoning entitlement, only it isn’t about the poor, it’s about the elite.

Ukraine has black soil, some of the most fertile in the world. But where is the water supply and who has access to it?

Ukraine has three major sources of water; the Dnepr Basin, Dnestr Basin, the coastal basin, the Donietsk Basin and the Danube. The Dnepr is by far the largest providing 65% of the fresh water and originates in Russia.

The land of Ukraine that is usable for agriculture is considered the second largest in all of Europe covering 41.5 million hectares. And since the coup, more and more private investors have been grabbing the land. The previous government was not hospitable toward foreign ownership of its land, despite many who tried. Land ownership was confined to the citizens of Ukraine. However, Poroschenko does not share that hesitancy and is more than willing to hand over any and all farmland to whomever he is told to sell to.

So far the largest contracts have originated with Luxembourg, Cyprus (which provides the ability to hide true ownership data), China, Qatar, Landkom International, Morgan Stanley, and France. In addition, Monsanto is now given free rein (the previous government had outlawed GMO’s). DuPont and Syngenta are busily building necessary plants and the country has for all intents and purposes been sold out.

The French firm, Agrogeneration, is one of the largest holders, as is a German trader Toepfer. Toepfer has a past that is quite questionable to say the least! In December 2013, a criminal lawsuit was filed against them, stating as follows:

“Archer Daniels Midland Company (“ADM”), a large agricultural processing company based in Illinois, is incorporated in Delaware and during the relevant period its stock was traded under the New York Stock Exchange. ADM also held a 80% interest in Alfred C. Toepfer, International GmbH (“ADM Hamburg”), a German limited liability company that is headquartered in Hamburg, Germany, and an indirect 80% ownership interest in Alfred C. Toepfer International (Ukraine) Limited (“ADM Ukraine). ADM Ukraine was an affiliate of ADM Hamburg.”

A plea deal was struck and a fine levied payable to the Ukraine with a depository bank in the US. Some of the more prominent figures affiliated with ADM have included; Warren Buffet’s son, Michael Andreas, Robert Strauss, and Brian Mulroney, former PM of Canada. Other connections include; Lady Margaret Thatcher, Henry Kissinger, Evelyn de Rothschild, and former Fed Chief, Paul Volcker.

There is a Clinton relationship in the country as well. Between 2009 and 2013, the Clinton Foundation received nearly $9 million in donations from the Pinchuk Foundation and a pledge for a total of $29 million over five years. Victor Pinchuk is married to a former Ukrainian president’s daughter, served two terms in parliament, and is said to be a great collaborator with George Soros.

And the circle is complete.

So, we now have Monsanto, Burisma Holdings (the Hunter Biden, Archer, Kerry, Heinz connection), ADM, Soros, Clinton, Rothschild, France, Qatar, and a host of ‘greasers’.

The game? Quite simply, it is a game of rule, of power, of control. It is the game to own the government, to own the resources, to control who will have food, and who will not, who will have water, and who will not.

So, who is shepherding the sheep?

What will be on your table in 2020?

FYI – Largest “agriculture” land holders in US: Mormon Church, TIAA CREF, and Hancock Agriculture – largest landowner = John Malone

THE NETHERLANDS – A Sheep without a Shepherd

I remember when my father took me to Holland. I remember multi colored sails on boats floating sweetly on the waters. I remember white stone verandas and steps that led to pristine gardens, lush and green. I remember rolling hillsides that gently gave way to the fields of tulips, fruits and vegetables. It was somehow so perfect, so idyllic, and this remained in my mind’s eye.

But that time has past. The moons have risen and receded. And now this perfect picture has changed.

Holland is considered the most liberal country in the world with legalized prostitution, soft drugs and euthanasia, and a skew in the new religious preference to atheism and agnosticism. But they also have the 12th highest cancer rates in the world (Denmark has the highest). They have some of the highest rates of GMO agriculture, antibiotic use in animals, hormone use in animals and a birth rate that is declining. Since 1969 their birth rate has dropped from over 247,900 to 170,300 – 31%.

Could the shift to a world without morals and values also influence the desire to procreate? What happens when we no longer have right and wrong? What happens when we have no purpose?

With the opening up of euthanasia to include ‘individual choice’, one in eight deaths in The Netherlands can now be attributed to euthanasia and terminal sedation. People don’t want to live. In addition, a startling truth is unfolding. It is estimated that more than 650 babies are euthanized every year because the parents don’t want to raise a child that has some handicap. Where is the line?

Holland also embraces pornography. In addition, virtual child porn is legal. The result – The Netherlands has the highest rate of child porn of all the European nations.

GMO’S: Agriculture makes up the dominate export factoring in at about $81billion in 2014. Dairy farms make up 2/3 of all agriculture and if you have ever been downwind of those, well, it ain’t pretty. They also seriously pollute underground water and the soil. The picturesque windmills have been replaced with the metal ones like we have in the US. Bird flu is a serious issue given most farms are factory farms where they cram as many pigs, cows or chickens into the smallest space possible, because space is a limited factor. Disease is rampant. Antibiotic use became the norm, injected daily. Money was the objective and so creating the most, the fastest, was the object. Hormones were the all answer, widely used to promote greater ‘productivity’.

And it all worked in one manner. The Netherlands became the second largest agriculture exporter in the world next to the United States despite being just 2times the size of New Jersey.

But things started to collapse.

Antibiotic use in animals is being called to the mat as the number one reason that people around the world are becoming more and more resistant to the effects of antibiotics. Some countries consider this to be a global crisis. WHO has stated that if the use of hormones and antibiotics in animals is not stopped, even the most simple ailments like strep will no longer respond to any known antibiotic treatment.

Every year, 2 million people in the United States get infections that are resistant to antibiotics, and at least 23,000 people die as a result. Dozens of new, virulent bacteria have emerged over the years, including methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, or MRSA, which causes more than 11,000 deaths in the United States each year. Consumer Reports found that 97% of the 316 chicken breasts it tested were tainted with potentially harmful bacteria, and about half harbored at least one multidrug-resistant bacteria.

“Animal welfare groups say conditions go beyond being morally objectionable and that the farming practice has become an incubator for disease. You have an industry focused on keeping the costs as low as possible, giving as little feed as possible. We don’t see animals as animals any longer, but as products.”

For years The Netherlands widely accepted the use of GMO’s, second to Spain. Of course this necessitated the ritual dumping of pesticides, glyphosates (roundup) to mitigate against pests. The nutrient value of a product is relative to the nutrient value of the soil. If the soil is contaminated, this will pass on to the crop. So, not only were crops absorbing the harmful effects of glyphosate, the soil values also broke down as certain types of soil bind with the glyphosate.

They have recently passed a law which will ban all use of glyphosate as of the beginning of 2016. In fact the majority of Europe has either partially banned GMO’s and Roundup, or fully. But is it too little, too late? Have they already destroyed the land?

It would appear that The Netherlands believes they have. They are one of the top land grabbers in Africa and Asia.

It’s not just the landscape and farming in The Netherlands that has changed. It is just a picture of what once was so, when I was child – and what is – now. It is a place where values seem to have been replaced with open rule. Where the lines of right and wrong have blurred. And where purpose is a lost sheep without a shepherd.
