Accusations against other countries governments is nearly always based on what the accusing country is doing, therefore the assumption is that everyone else is too. The China General Technology Research Group has been accused by MI5 of using British academics to further the Group’s spying capabilities. The Group has been in existence since 1998. The MI5 accusation claims over 100 academics across UK Universities were unwittingly providing China with AI and other technology research undermining British security.
The UK ranks 3rd globally for their AI Research. The newly established UK Center For AI Driven Innovation at Imperial College London partners with the World Economic Forum to scale industrial applications responsibly. Why WEF? Despite all its brooha, the UK AI sector faces a critical and worsening skills shortage. The fact that China is #1 globally for AI would indicate that the UK has less knowledge, and there is nothing to ‘steal’. What then is the point of the accusation?
The UK is a base for AI that is not derived by their research including; OpenAI, Anthropic, Microsoft and META. In other words, the UK is not a major source of AI technology and has been falling behind while attempting to maintain the illusion of research. The risk and the pressure to be relevant is causing them to point fingers. A Deflection.
In 2025, The Tony Blair Institute For Global Change warned in a report that the UK holds only approximately 3% of the world’s computing power, creating a structural dependency that threatens both economic competitiveness and national security. Translation: The UK does not have AI Technology, it is simply riding on the back of America. So, who would have told MI5 to make the claim about China? CIA.
Reason? To make China look less competent. To make China appear to be a rival. To make China a boogey man.
Working in conjunction with the CIA is CSIS, Center For Strategic and International Studies. Their number one concern is China. While posturing China as a threat to US security, the fear is that China will become the Global Empire replacing America on the stage. Technically, China has already achieved that status given the rapid decline of America by its political and shadow pundits. When evil falls, it desires to bring everyone down with it in the spiral. Like a captain ensuring no survivors on a sinking ship.
In an analysis by CSIS on the Trump/Xi Jinping meeting, the cast is all about a weak Jinping following along in Trump’s shadow attempting to gain access to the US Power Structure and Superiority. It is unclear if the ‘self described experts’ at CSIS writing about the meeting are purposefully conflating the entire meeting or if they are simply ignorant.
Focusing on The Trump Is Winning mantra, it becomes clear there is a crossover between CSIS and Heritage in their views of China. And the attempt is to refute the facts that reveal China is not the enemy. America is. Ignoring the obvious, maintaining bias and misinterpretation, inserting propaganda and denouncing the objective of cooperation sustains an America living in a bubble while collapsing on itself. CSIS total existence is based on ‘enemies’. Without enemies, their contribution to society would be nonexistent. Without internally created terrorism, the intel structure of the US would be irrelevant. 17 Federal Intel Agencies, hundreds of intel NGO’s would be functionally nonessential. Thousands of jobs paid for by Taxpayers would disappear.
CSIS is scripted. They perform like a media entertainer. Without even attempting to write an ethically unbiased report, their worth as Intel is left in a dung heap that further tears America into pieces. The concept of Truth has evaporated. We are a country without a viable political party.
The AI scandals are growing. China’s robots are banned from being imported into the US despite Trump asking Xi Jinping for a joint cooperation agreement. Big Tech has pinky sworn to monitor AI for potential risks via policing – and immediately inform the White House. OpenAI and Anthropic are being investigated by the FTC. The FTC investigates fraud, false advertising, and unfair business practices. Both Anthropic’s CEO and OpenAI’s Ceo recently met with Trump to discuss policing AI. Why wasn’t the investigation noted?
In a recent clash, Trump announced America.gov – an Ai driven White House debacle wherein anyone can ask anything – unfortunately it is not on the same planet as Trump and when asked to corroborate Trump statements – the AI tells an alternate version. Upending Trump’s pathological lies. Including the fact that the vast majority of all projects – including leaving Iraq – were established in 2023 or 2024 under the Biden Handler Regime.
The nuclear scandal is even worse – data centers specifically asked for nuclear power so Trump is allowing old decommissioned plants to be retrofitted due to the fact that nuclear plants typically take a decade or more to build and are notorious for price gouging and escalation. Trump is taking his orders from the Tech Giants and spiffs under the table are likely quite hefty.
While US Robotics focus on industrial applications and use, China’s robots are building robots thus making them less expensive, and an army of applications. Atlas, built by Boston Dynamics is $120,000. Maintenance costs run roughly 20% annually based on the initial purchase price. Service contracts are bundled into monthly fees running about $1200. The lifespan of Atlas? 3-5 years.
While Trump claims the reason he has banned importing Chinese robots is because of price points – Chinese robots of the same caliber as its US counterpart are typically 300% lower in cost. Just ask America.gov… The real reason the UK government made the claim of stolen research? To begin the downward spiral against buying robotics from China – as demanded by OpenAI and Anthropics.
