This weekend I went to Florida with my daughter for a seminar and I forgot my passport. I showed my driver license to the “security” agent at the airport and she let me go. On the way back, I had to put my driver licence in a card reader and the “security” agent directed me to a poster with a bar code which led to a state dept web site which collected a $45 fine from me for not having the “real ID”
