Milei’s job? Look pretty and do the bidding of The Masters. Do you really believe Milei is anything but another paid pawn of the Bankers who own Argentina: Pimco, BlackRock and Fidelity. They own the debt. They are calling the shots. They are recreating an Economic Argentina that will earn them significant profits on their debt. All while Milei takes credit. The value of their debt sank to 1/3. Investors complained. A restructuring was devised. Investors – Happy. Voila. This is how it is done.
The pions proclaim Milei a hero – the pundits scream victory – and the entire escapade was a script of the Elite. Yeah…

His latest Bill would give Milei the power to bypass Congress in order to legislate his reforms … As in a Dictatorship.

To Helena. I interpret Milei different. He is an intelligent, fierce card-carrying libertarian who is well versed in Austrian economics. Once you reach his insight there is no going back. His only entanglement with WEF was a speech when he criticized central banking 12 years ago, he was never invited back. He named one of his dogs Murray (after Rothbard). He quotes Hayek. I have never known, or even heard of, anyone who has reached that intellectual level who later reverts to statism or supports Wall Street/City of London.
However there is much local politics and entrenched interests he has to fight, recall Trump’s tribulations with the Deep State. Maybe his pro-Israel stance is only so the three letter agencies will leave him alone, and I believe the dollarisation is only to force the government to balance the budget and knee-cap the crippling inflation.
I remain hopeful for Argentina’s prospects.
